e-Resources Zone

• The E-Resources Zone, located on Level 2 of PTTA, is a dedicated space established to promote the library’s online electronic resources to users.
• The area is equipped with tables, chairs and laptops with internet access to facilitate immediate and seamless information searching. A smart television is also provided to display information and highlights about the library’s subscribed electronic resources.
• Users can access a wide range of databases, e-journals and e-books subscribed to by the library in a comfortable and user-friendly environment.
• The E-Resources Zone serves not only as a promotional space but also as an ideal starting point for users to explore and fully maximize PTTA’s digital resources in support of learning, research and knowledge discovery.

  Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Rail Transportation with Honours

  Engineering Technology in Rail Transportation programme aims to develop understanding of the rail transportation design, operation and maintenance of rail system.

  Master of Science in Railway Engineering (by Mixed-Mode)

  This program is a FULL-TIME program with a combination of Course-Work and Research Activities for a total minimum duration of 3 Semesters. Total credit hours for this program is 43 credits – 50% on Course-Work (8 courses) and 50% on Research (Dissertation 1 and 2). The main aim of this program is to develop knowledge, improve strategies and decision making in design, operation and performance of railway engineering. Being the only one of its kind in Malaysia, this program gives not only an accredited Masters of Science degree, but also an exciting and rewarding career opportunities where the railway skills and knowledge will be highly sought after.
